A 30-minute program of solos, duets, and organ music in the beautiful historic St. Joseph Catholic Church, calling to mind the events and mood of Holy Week. 830 Poplar St., Macon 31201.
Featuring St. Joseph sopranos Kimberly Dykes and Laura Endres, with St. Joseph organist Nelda Chapman, this month’s program focuses on the events of Holy Week. Music includes solos “At the Cry of the First Bird,” The Holy City,” duets “Pie Jesu,” (Webber), “Weep, Children of Israel,” and organ music “”Mon âme cherche une fin paisible,” (based on the melody Passion Chorale).
