Elder Wilbert Lawrence Johnson III Born in Albany, Georgia in 1957 at Turner Air Force Base, Wilbert began singing at the young age of three years old with his uncle while conducting housework. He later grew to love the sounds of ballads in the 1940's and 50's when his stepfather introduced him to the rich sounds of musician/singer “Nat King Cole”, the baritone sounds of American Jazz singer “Arthur Prysock,” the classical entertainment of Frank Sinatra to the baritone voice of television personality “Perry Como.” As a singer, musician, songwriter and vocalist; Wilbert Johnson has developed his craft by embracing the genres of Classical, to Country to Gospel Jazz. He believes music is literally the Voice of God and is an essential part of his ministry by bringing revival in this country and around the world through anointed Praise and Worship.
