2019 Dancing Stars of Central Georgia

In a gala dance competition, 11 local celebrities paired with dance instructors will entertain the audience to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Association.

During the 2019 Dancing Stars of Central Georgia event, attendees will enjoy cocktails, dinner and a fun-filled show while voting for their favorite pair and listening to feedback from a panel of local celebrity judges. At the end of the night there will be two winners – the People’s Choice Award for the couple with the highest fundraising total and Judge’s Choice Award for the couple who receive the highest judges’ score. All funds raised support Alzheimer’s research and programs and services provided to those diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and other dementias and their families including those in Central Georgia. Local celebrity dancers this year include Dr. Paul Evans, Heatheranne Neal, Carson Jones, Salwa Megally, Corrie Hall, Robbie Mathis, Tami Fricks, Patrice Walker, Brian Nelson, Lisa Wheeler and Mic Miller. Dance instructors include Princess Davis, Dwayne Crocker, Stephanie Gore, Chester Gibbs, Joshua Lester, Laura Thomason, Luke Dockery, David Boudreault, Mary-Kate Hunnicutt, Miquel Peredes and Sara Beth Amos.
