7:00-9:00 pm Art Entrepreneurs Launch Party: Get to know the artists participating in the retreat, as well as other artists in the community. This event is open to the public.
Saturday
9:00 am-12:00 pm Write Your Own Manual for Your Business: Stephanie Howard (Mercer Innovation Center) will show you how to write a quick business plan using the Lean Canvas Model. A good business plan will become your guide for how to earn money from your art, no matter what that looks like for you.
12:00-1:00 pm Lunch at The 567 (provided)
1:00-4:00 pm Branding for Artists: Noelle Brooks (The Fringe Marketing Group) is passionate about teaching artists the secrets to good marketing. Artists who attend this workshop will be able to create a mission/vision statement to guide their marketing, identify their KEY audience, and implement at least one new marketing strategy (i.e. Instagram campaign with a hashtag).
