Bibb County Schools Student Art Show

 Join us First Friday, March 7, for the opening reception of the 3rd Annual Bibb County Schools Student Art Show. This annual exhibit was started to celebrate Youth Art Month by recognizing the young artists in our community and giving them the opportunity to show their work in a true art gallery. Bibb County elementary, middle, and high school art teachers select work from their students for this exhibit. Artwork is chosen based on the enthusiasm, hard work, and creativity of the student.

This year's theme is "The Sky's the Limit." The exhibit is made possible by a partnership between the Department of Fine Arts of the Bibb County School District, The 567 Center for Renewal, and the Georgia Art Educators Association District 5.

The opening reception will be March 7, 6-9 pm and include light refreshments. There will also be live music by a string quartet of student musicians, 6:30-7:30 pm. The exhibit will be on display March 7-26. The gallery is free and open to the public.
