If you haven’t seen it, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is much more than a martial arts film. The hunt for the thief of the legendary Green Destiny sword reveals the tensions of two romances, one fulfilled and the other long unspoken; a young woman becoming independent from a manipulative elder, and yes, some pretty awesome martial arts. All this set against the backdrop of some of the most gorgeous natural scenery.
