Georgia’s Old Capital Museum Society presents the second lecture in the 2014 “Evenings with History” lecture series focusing on Sherman’s March to the Sea. Dr. Bob Wilson, professor of history at Georgia College will discuss General William T. Sherman’s arrival in Milledgeville in November of 1864 and the impact of 30,000 federal troops on the lives of residents in the capital.
