Explore downtown Macon’s art galleries on First Friday–who knows what you’ll discover!
Macon Arts Alliance (486 1st St), 4-7 pm
Macon Arts is excited to welcome the Ocmulgee Painters Society for their August exhibit, “Seeing Things in a New Light”. The show will open with a First Friday reception.

The 567 Center for Renewal (456 1st St), 5-8 pm
The August exhibit is Piece Work, an exhibit of recent paintings by Eric O’Dell. On First Friday, meet the artist, see the new exhibit, and enjoy light refreshments.

McEachern Art Center (332 2nd St), 4-8 pm
“PROOF: From the Archive of ABSOLUTE COLOR” is an archive documenting Gretchen Wagner’s ongoing research, process, and exploration of color as both form and content. The opening on August 4 will be accompanied by a public reception.

Third Street Studio (536 3rd St), 5-8 pm
Drop by to see a collection of small works on canvas, panel, and paper by Macon artist Anna Richards.
