From Bach to Rock: 1000 years of music history in 60 minutes

Faculty and Guest Artist Recital: Ashley Odom, violin; Aaron Odom, cello; Michael McGhee, piano; Chenny Gan, piano; Michael Scott, percussion

Join us for a whimsical journey through Western music history – from Medieval to modern, featuring familiar tunes in innovative arrangements for two pianos, violin, cello, and percussion. Ashley Odom will be performing on the violin that belonged to Glenn Priest Maerz, professor of violin at Wesleyan from 1921-1934, which was recently gifted to the College by Claire Murray ’52. Free and open to the public.
