Generation Fusion

Generation Fusion (Kyla Gwyn, violin; Patricia McCall, violin; Jaris Tobler, viola; Spencer Brewer, cello) will perform a variety of classical and sacred favorites, including Debussy’s “Claire de Lune,” Bach’s “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring” and “Bist Du Bei Mir,” Amazing Grace, It Is Well With My Soul, and many others. The spark for Generation Fusion was lit when Ms. McCall contacted the other musicians for a specific gig a few years ago. After rehearsal, the four decided that they wanted to become a professional quartet. They settled on the name “Generation Fusion” because, using the universal language of music to show others how to bring generations together, they are in fact fusing two generations together. The present members of the group are also the founding members, ranging in age from 28-65, spanning roles from students to teachers to mentors to colleagues. The group has performed throughout Middle Georgia since 2018.
