Heritage Camps

Children ages 7-12 participate in a one-week session of the Tubman Heritage Summer Camps that features arts and crafts activities, character portrayals and creative writing. The children also enjoy a tour of historic Macon sites including famous African American neighborhoods, churches and cemeteries. The highlight of the camp is a trip to Atlanta for a Black Heritage tour of the city. ADMISSION INFO

In an effort to ensure that as many children as possible are exposed to this cultural opportunity, this camp is open to children who have not participated in the past. The cost for camp is $45 for members ($25 or higher membership level required) and $80 for non-members. Fees are to be paid at time of application submission. Space is limited! (No discounts for additional children.)
