Introduction to Handbuilding

Learn how to get started working with clay! By learning the basics, you will realize how easy it is to make your own artistic pieces. This 8-week class will focus on slab technique, pinch technique, and basic glazing methods. During the course, Heather McLaurin will show you how to sculpt a mug, personalized tiles, and other projects. Get ready to get your hands dirty! Ages 16 and up. This class is recommended before taking our pottery wheel class. The cost is $200 for non-members, $170 for members, and includes all materials. Meets Mondays, 6:30-8:30 pm, starting February 12.
