Joel Terning, Bass-baritone

Joel Terning, bass-baritone, is a soloist, educator, conductor, and bass guitarist living in Atlanta.  He earned a vocal performance degree in 2019 from Mercer University, where he studied with Dr. Rich Kosowki.  He appeared in several Mercer Opera roles, was a member of the Mercer Singers and played bass guitar in the Mercer Jazz Ensemble.  Joel was awarded first place in his category at the 2019 National NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) competition.  Joel has sung with many of the leading choirs in the Atlanta area and is now on the faculty of King’s Ridge Christian School.
