Jonathan Johnson, tenor With Craig Terry, piano

Macon native Jonathan Johnson is a graduate of the Patrick G. and Shirley W. Ryan Opera Center which is the Lyric Opera of Chicago’s professional artist-development program. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the Townsend School of Music at Mercer University and a Master’s degree and Professional Artist Certificate from the A.J. Fletcher Institute at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Recent performances include appearances in Candide, Don Giovanni, The Merry Widow, Anna Bolena, The Messiah, and Beethoven No. 9. He has also toured extensively with Chris Botti.

Performing with Mr. Johnson will be pianist Craig Terry, Music Director of the Patrick G. and Shirley W. Ryan Opera Center and Assistant Conductor at Lyric Opera of Chicago. He performs regularly with some of the world’s leading singers and instrumentalists.
