"Look Around, Look Within" Art Show

Join The Creative Alternative on Sunday, May 7th (2-5pm) as we recognize Mental Health month with our first Mental Health Art Show! Mental Health America’s 2023 theme for Mental Health Month is Look Around, Look Within”: For Mental Health Month this year, Mental Health America is encouraging individuals to look around and look within. From your neighborhood to genetics, many factors come into play when it comes to mental health conditions. We encourage everyone to consider how the world around you affects your mental health.

Although we are focused on the theme of “Look Around, Look Within”, we are open to reviewing submissions of any artwork inspired by the theme of mental health. If you have been impacted by issues of mental health, we invite you to take this opportunity to express your experience with others.
