Five barrier breakers that are part of Macon’s LGBTQ community share their stories and perspectives during a special one-night screening.
Once a week during October, Historic Macon unveiled a new video from community barrier breakers during LGBTQ History Month. Now, the series, “Hidden History,” will be screened at the Grand Opera House in its entirety — one video — followed by a short question-and-answer session with the filmmakers on how it was made.

Parking at The Grand is just steps from our front door and it’s free. Park in the lot directly adjacent to the theater, which is available to the public after business hours and on weekends. If the lot is full, please use available street parking (pay the meter for applicable spaces). Please make sure to secure any valuables to ensure their safety during evening performances.
