Make a Bowl - Handbuilding with Clay

Join us for a free pottery class! In this 2-week class, you will shape and decorate a bowl using two common handbuilding techniques–pinch and coil. Yen-Ting Chiu will show you how. August 16 & 23, 6:30-9:00 pm.

Every bowl created in this class will become part of the Empty Bowls fundraiser during the First Street Art & Wine Festival in September. The bowls will be made available for purchase, with all proceeds going to an organization which helps the poor and hungry in Macon–Loaves & Fishes. (If you really love the bowl you made, you may buy it back at the fundraiser!)

Even though this class is free, you MUST register in advance, and you must attend both classes in order to finish your bowl. Space is very limited–please do not sign up unless you know you can attend. Ages 18 and up.
