Mini Glass Heart Casting

Join us for a quick introduction to the process of pressed glass to make your own Pressed Glass Heart. You will chose your colors and mix them into the clear glass. The glass will then be heated up in the furnace. Then you and the instructor will drop the molten glass into our heart shaped mold, cut the glass with our special molten glass cutting shears and press the glass into a heart shape.
This process takes roughly 15 minutes per heart.
All glasswork must cool overnight to ensure it does not break. Your Glass Heart will be available for pickup after 3:30pm our next business day.

Due to the nature of glassblowing and the risks with Covid-19, the use of a hand controlled air pump will be utilized to inflate the glass. This is a measure to keep everyone safe and still be able to provide quality instruction to all of our students.
*MASKS are REQUIRED while in all of our studio classes.
