National Drinking Water Week-Open House Celebration

The Macon Water Authority will celebrate National Drinking Water Week which is set for May 1-7th with an “Open House” at the Frank C. Amerson Jr. Water Treatment Plant on Thursday, May 5th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Plant tours, educational information, and refreshments will be offered; as you will see the faciility and operations that produced the Best Tasting Drinking Water in North America, as awarded in 2009 by the American Water Works Association.
