Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia will celebrate the impact of this iconic financial literacy program and the 100th anniversary of Girl Scouts selling cookies during National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend on February 24-26. The celebration will include a culinary contest featuring sweet concoctions made by local restaurants using Girl Scout Cookies.
Restaurants across Georgia will offer their own unique Girl Scout Cookie dishes. There are two categories of competition: one for full service restaurants and one for specialty eateries. Local culinary experts will judge the dishes and local diners will cast votes for their favorite treats at www.gshg.org. The winning restaurant and eatery will each be presented with a National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend Culinary Competition trophy and win the ultimate cookie bragging rights! Participating restaurants will be announced soon!
