Open Mic Night

On Wednesday nights Poetic Peace Open Mic takes place at Midtown Key Club. All type of artists including poets, singers, musicians, comedians and more come out and express themselves on stage. It’s a major avenue for artists to network and collaborate on other projects in the community. Yolanda “Y-O” Latimore, director of Poetic Peace Arts, is the host and producer of this event, and, DJ Ron is the official DJ.  

Every first and third Wednesday, Soulistic – The Band accents the eclectic vibe of Poetic Peace at Midtown Key Club 435 Third Street between Cherry and Poplar Streets in downtown Macon. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the open mic starts at 8 p.m.
