Ranger Talk: History of the National Park Service

August 25th is the 101st birthday of the National Park Service! To continue the idea of celebrating parks, the National Park Service has launched the “Parks 101” campaign. We want you to continue to explore parks into their 2nd century.

Here at Ocmulgee National Monument, we will be hosting a Ranger Talk that covers the history of the National Park Service. How did it come to be? Who helped it grow? How have the parks changed?
