Saving Juliette Documentary Screening

Join us for a free screening of “Saving Juliette”, a 40-minute investigative documentary about polluted water in Monroe County and the residents’ fight to change it at the Grand Opera House in Macon at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 17 with a Q&A after.

The many cases of cancer became town folklore. Neighbors saw homes bought up and demolished, wells filled with concrete and padlocks with the power company logo on the property gates.

At the heart of it all were unanswered questions about how any of it came to be and whether it had something to do with the water they had been drinking.

Parking at The Grand is just steps from our front door and it’s free. Park in the lot directly adjacent to the theater, which is available to the public after business hours and on weekends. If the lot is full, please use available street parking (pay the meter for applicable spaces). Please make sure to secure any valuables to ensure their safety during evening performances.
