Second Annual Christmas Prediction Run

On December 2nd, the 2nd Annual Christmas Prediction Run is BACK! Lace up your sneakers and join us for this fun, family-friendly event.

THE BASICS
What is a prediction run? A run with NO watches, Garmins, phones, pedometers, etc. You predict how long it will take you to finish. The course will be approximately two miles but won’t be revealed until you get to the race. It doesn’t matter how fast you are! Walk or run… anyone can win! The person closest to his or her predicted time wins. Last year’s winner was only off by 3 seconds.

MORE FUN AFTER THE RUN
The winner receives $50 cash and the top five receive large gift bags full of great stuff. A silent auction with a variety of home-baked cakes, pies, cookies, and other miscellaneous items will also be held. Also enjoy BBQ sandwiches and Laura’s (my wife) world famous hot homemade vegetable beef soup with chips, cookies, drinks, and water.

THE CAUSE
100% of the money goes to providing the residents of Lynn Haven nursing home with Christmas. Almost half of the residents have few or no family with whom to celebrate Christmas. Please come out and enjoy a fun time and some great food and help bring some love and joy to these shut-ins that often are forgotten.

NO ENTRY FEE or registration needed! We are asking for a five dollar donation (but will, of course, accept more).
