Join us for a spooky salon with the founder of the modern day haunted house.
In 1971, Edwin “Itsi” Atkins created and sound and light haunted production named Blood Manor at the former convent of St. Michael’s Church in Ridge, MD. According to his research, this was the first existence of a professional live action haunted house. Itsi has written the book Itsi Atkins’ Blood Manor: America’s First Haunted House about this experience and will give a presentation and sign books at our Sidney’s Salon on October 28th.
