Stories & Songs featuring Lauren Lapointe, Timothy Walker, and Tripp Spears

The 567 presents its monthly songwriter series, Stories & Songs. Stories & Songs isn’t your typical concert–it feels more like sitting in a living room with your friends and a few of your favorite songwriters. Featured songwriters tell the stories behind the songs they play and talk about the art of music. Artists featured in September are Lauren Lapointe, Timothy Walker (of Threadbare, Brother), and Tripp Spears. Tickets are $7 at the door, $5 for students. Doors open at 7:30, music starts at 8.

About the songwriters:
Lauren Lapointe, who is coming to us from Savannah, has been played on more than 100 radio stations. If you haven’t heard her, you’ll love her soulful folk songs. Timothy Walker is better known as Threadbare, Brother. Even though he lives in Atlanta, he’s played his folk music in Macon a few times, and we’re looking forward to his return to The 567. Tripp Spears returns to us after touring with the Coast Into Summer Tour, and we’re looking forward to having him again for Stories & Songs.
