Summer book giveaway opened to all ages. This free event is open to the public and will include a 2,000-book giveaway, refreshments, story time, and other literacy-focused activities.
The Alpha Rho chapter of Lambda Kappa Mu Sorority, Inc., United Way, and the Frank Johnson Recreation Center advisory board have teamed up to sponsor a citywide summer “book-out” at the Frank Johnson Recreation Center on Saturday, June 8, 2019, from 11a-1p. This free event is open to the public and will include a 2,000-book giveaway, refreshments, story time, and other literacy-focused activities.
