The BLACK Poets present: Groove Speak

The B.L.A.C.K. Poets presents the very first of the new monthly event Groove Speak, a night of spoken word, hip-hop, neo-soul, and more, hosted by Poetic Mindz, with live music by the Groove Speak house band. This month’s featured spoken word artist will be Future the Poet, coming all the way from Michigan. You won’t want to miss this nationally-touring artist! For local poets, a limited number of open-mic slots are available, and sign-up begins at 7 pm.

This event will be happening the 4th Monday of every month at The 567, so come back every month to see what talented new acts the B.L.A.C.K. Poets have lined up. Tickets are $5 in advance, $7 at the door. Doors open at 6:30, show starts at 7:30. This event is open to all ages.
