In the interest of public health, this event has been canceled. Winner of the 2016 Tony Award® for Best Musical Revival with a soul-raising, Grammy®-winning score of jazz, gospel, ragtime and blues. The Color Purple adapts Alice Walker’s Pulitzer Prize winning novel about Celie, a teenage girl in Georgia struggling with the adversity of abusive relationships, living with the hope of being reunited with her sister and children. Parking at The Grand is just steps from our front door and it’s free. Park in the lot directly adjacent to the theater, which is available to the public after business hours and on weekends.
