The Folk Blues Art Show

The opening reception for this show is this Friday evening from 5 til 8 PM. The show runs through Sunday. Opening time on the weekend is 11 AM and it goes until late at night. It takes place in the Grant’s Loft space at 574 Poplar Street downtown. This is the perfect compliment to the Mulberry Street art market and other Cherry Blossom events. Bring the whole family and experience a truly unique visual spectacle!

Most of the artists and photographers in this show are self taught and it is evident in the unique style of each. The entire collection of the late great Lynn Tate will be on display for the first time. There is also a large collection of works from Yonrico Scott, Michael Pierce, Kirk West, Angela Henigman, John Mollica, Bill Brookins, Charvis Harrell, Deneise Ricketson, Walter Johnson, Graciela Lopez, Craig Hamilton, Timothy Hedden, Gilbert Lee, Marty Fromm, and Joey Fernandez.

There is live music at night in Grant’s Lounge to accompany this show. Please come out and support local artists and musicians.
