Third Thursday Organ Interlude and Lunch

The January Third Thursday Organ Interlude features Elizabeth Morgan, Organist at Vineville UMC, Macon. As an undergraduate organ student at Mercer University, Elizabeth served all 4 years as organ intern at St. Joseph. In the summer before beginning  her 2 years of graduate study at Mercer, she was selected as Organist and Assistant to the Director of Music at Vineville UMC. A native of Michigan, she had done summer study during high school under Dr. Jack Mitchener, which led to her selecting Mercer University for her undergraduate and graduate studies and arriving at the same time Dr. Mitchener began his tenure at Mercer. Married to Alan Morgan, Elizabeth also teaches private piano.
