Tour of Progress

Join us on Wednesday, October 14 for a behind-the-scenes tour of downtown Macon’s transformative development. NewTown Macon’s Tour of Progress, presented by Cadence Bank, provides a sneak peek of projects underway and a look into what programs fuel our vibrant downtown. This event is family-friendly and FREE!

This year, tours will be a little different to prioritize the health and safety of participants. Tours will be self-guided and begin and end at Fall Line Brewing Co., downtown Macon’s newest brewery.

Beginning at 4pm, tour-goers can pick up a Report of Progress and a tour map from Fall Line Brewing Co. at 567 Plum Street. Decals with QR codes will be placed on the sidewalk in front of tour stops. Scan the code and learn more about the exciting work underway in downtown Macon!

Tour-goers should return to Fall Line Brewing Co. by 6:45pm to enjoy locally crafted brews and light refreshments.

The Partner in Progress awards reception will take place outdoors in Fall Line Brewing Co.’s beer garden following tours and will begin at 7pm.

Per local mandate, masks and social distancing are required at all times when participating in this year’s Tour of Progress and Partners in Progress Awards ceremony, except when actively eating and drinking.
