Among the vast southern heritage and rich music history, the Rookery is one of Macon’s most noticeable landmarks. Located in the geographical center of downtown Macon, the Rookery has been a gathering place since Jimmy Carter ascended the White House and Capricorn Records was a world known hit maker. With its large patio extending into Cherry Street, locals and tourists alike have made the eatery and bar a home for relaxation and good fare. Sit at the bar and experience Eddie Hinton’s Extremely Dangerous Cocktail during happy hour. Listen to local and regional musicians at one of the Rookery’s quaint stages. The Rookery is the home of Bragg Jam, Macon’s largest and most eclectic music festival. The Rookery is also the home of the Allman Burger, the Big "O", and the Gram Parson’s Cosmic Club. It should be your home, too.

The Rookery is owned by Wes Griffith and Chad Evans, who are both local enthusiasts and have been in the service industry and entertainment field all of their lives. They are proud to share their home with you.
