A small number of minority and low income youth are exposed to the opportunity of international education be it through study abroad, internship, exchange programs, or volunteering. These programs offer enormous benefits towards personal and professional growth, preparing youth for the global job market, and allowing them to see and access the world beyond them. Because a large portion of minorities and those economically disadvantaged face barriers accessing such programs they are unable to experience these benefits.
For this reason, Two Hands International has been developed to enable underrepresented youth to access the opportunity of international education and increase their global understanding and global leadership potential. Two Hands International, Inc. is a nonprofit organization based in Macon, Georgia, which identifies and supports motivated youth from underrepresented communities to engage in global leadership and international education activities.
