Craig Coleman is an artist and Associate Professor of Art at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. He received his BFA degree (mixed media) from Florida State University and his MFA degree (photography) from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Craig has been teaching in academia for nineteen years and has taught a wide range of media including kinetic sculpture, graphic design, installation, digital imaging, video, and photography. His photographs, mixed media works, and installations have been shown in many venues accross the U.S. including the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia (Atlanta, GA), Paul Sharpe Contemporary Art (New York), Blackbridge Gallery at Georgia College (Milledgeville, GA), the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art (Boulder, CO), SOIL Gallery (Seattle, WA), Museum of Arts and Sciences (Macon, GA), The Arvada Center for the Arts (Arvada, CO), Carol Keller Gallery (Denver, CO), Corvid Gallery (Tulsa, OK), and the John Erickson Museum of Art (JEMA).

His work has been reviewed or cited in Art in America, Art Papers, The Denver Post, The Rocky Mountain News, New York Arts Magazine, the Knight Arts website, and the book “Soil: Artist-Run Gallery 1995-2005.”
