his workshop is available to both the Barnesville and Middle Georgia Turning Clubs.  The Class will be in Fred Morris’s Shop in Barnesville, from 9 – 4, on Wednesday, September 14th.

In the class we will make his Textured and Painted Bowl.  Al will demonstrate turning a bowl with a texture right from the tool and then techniques for using different colors of milk paint to create bowls that look like ceramic or metal pieces. 

The price of the workshop, including lunch will be $85.  And, there will be a material cost of about $10, depending on what wood we can find (Poplar, Cherry or Mahogany).  We’ll get all the needed supplies for everyone, so you will not have to worry about having the right materials.

These are always fun, and a great way to develop new skills and learn new techniques from a Professional, so I hope you are planning on attending.  If so, we’ll need a $40 nonrefundable deposit ASAP to get your name on the list.  You can pay the rest at the workshop.
