Car City is Putting the “Brakes” on Homelessness – The Ignitions are on and the Engines are Revved ……….Family Promise of Greater Houston County will begin its Third Annual CAR CITY event Friday evening, September 16, 2016 at Central Georgia Technical College. Volunteers and community leaders will spend a night in their cars to experience homelessness and raise awareness for homeless children and their families in Houston County. Although a serious need in our community, the event will feature a night of fun and entertainment along with a bit of education as we raise funds to support the program.
