The congregation of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Warner Robins, GA will present a production of the musical drama,”Rough Wood and Rusty Nails,” December 7th thru 9th in the church sanctuary at 336 Carl Vinson Pkwy in  Warner Robins, GA.

Written by Mt. Calvary’s director of music, Tim Jacobsmeyer, the musical tells the traditional Christmas story from the viewpoint of Joseph.  Through Scripture, song, dance, and monologue, the play explores what Joseph is thinking and feeling as he tries to come to grips with the events that turn his well ordered world upside down. He contemplates what it means to be entrusted with raising the child Jesus, the “Son of the Most High.”

 The sixteen original songs range in style from traditional choir anthems, to rock, to new age, to even rap, in which a funky Caesar Augustus makes his decree that “all the world must be enrolled.”  Admission to the production is Absolutely free!      Show Times Begin at 7:00p.m.
