Jolly Roger and The Pirate Queen opens January 21, 2017

The Backlot Players annual youth production opens Saturday January 21 st at 7:30 p.m.

at The Rose Theater, Forsyth. This Craig Sodaro comedy is the story of Roger

Goodman who marries the wealthy Sarah Huffington only to find out she really wants to

be married to a dashing pirate. Roger engages the services of Long John Silver to

teach him how to be a pirate or, more accurately, how to walk the plank. Laughter

abounds from the antics in this hilarious story with its twenty-five- person cast. A

special Thursday, January 26 th performance has been added to the show dates which

runs the 21 st , 26 th , 27 th and 28 th at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays January 22 nd and 29 th at 2:30

p.m. Tickets are $15.00 for adults, $12.00 for seniors, students and active military.
