More than 40 artists/artisans of Middle GA will showcase multiple types of arts and crafts at ARTrepreneur Market Place on Saturday, October 7, from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm, at Centenary United Methodist Church, 1290 College Street, Macon.
Don’t miss one of Macon’s best arts/crafts events on Saturday, October 7, from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm, at Centenary United Methodist Church, 1290 College Street. Centenary held its first marketplace for middle Georgia artists, craftsmen, and artisans last October. It was a resounding success for those creators who needed a venue for selling their wares, and the Artrepreneur Marketplace is now an annual event. Artists pay a nominal fee to rent a space, but all profits from sales are theirs. The rental fees, however, help support one of Centenary’s most significant outreach programs, a transition house for men in recovery from drugs and alcohol.
There will be something to appeal to everyone’s taste from the more than 40 central Georgia creators who will showcase their work. The selections include fine art, baked goods, doll clothes, leather goods, pottery, plants, wreaths and bows, handmade soaps, folk art, jewelry, quilts, baby items, embroidery, fiber art, batik clothing, purses, photography, and walking sticks. A perfect-for-fall, bargain-priced lunch of homemade soup and sandwiches will be available.
