DACA Your Child’s Education & Rights “What You Need to know”
Purpose: Free, and also open to the public- Professional panel of certified bilingual Teachers, immigration advocates, and community partners to address the concerns and questions of parents and guardians of DACA recipients and how it affects their current education status within the U.S. This panel will help to answer questions of families where children are DACA recipients and are facing possible deportation or immigration concerns. The community is invited to learn and become well informed about the legal rights and the process of DACA and the student’s educational process. There will be representatives on the panel from various backgrounds, Asian, Hispanic, African, & Middle East representatives to address the needs of the entire DACA youth community. Both the Macon Magnolia’s and Little Latina Girls of Mid. GA. have hosted community civic events to bridge the interest of the community’s needs with our youth and guest panelist.
Free Food, Information Literature & Care packages will be available for attendees
