Artist Sarah Tinsley Parker is a native of Macon, GA. Born in Atlanta, GA and raised in Macon,  GA, Sarah Tinsley quickly realized at a young age her talent for the arts. Sarah Tinsley recently graduated from Georgia College and State University with a Masters in Art Therapy. Sarah Tinsley has been practicing as a professional artist for 9 years. Whether it be an abstract, landscape, or architectural painting, Sarah Tinsley always throws her entire soul into each individual piece. She is continuing her passion for the arts and hopes to bring awareness to the field of Art Therapy and it’s amazing ability to heal through the power of creativity. Currently, Sarah Tinsley is the 2017 featured artist for the Jazz Association’s Riverdale Arts Festival in Macon, GA. There will be an honorary reception at Travis Jean, October 6th along with her second art show called “Musical Perception.” Sarah Tinsley’s artwork can be viewed at the Albany Museum of Art in Albany, GA and Travis Jean Emporium in Historic Downtown Macon, GA.
