Why Macon’s Cookin’?

Macon’s Cookin’ is held in support of Rebuilding Macon’s mission to repair homes for elderly and disabled, low-income homeowners throughout Macon-Bibb. But this is much more than just a fundraiser for a good cause. Macon’s Cookin’ is a celebration of everything that makes this city so great.

In recent years, Macon has seen rapid growth, much of which can be attributed to the city’s fabulous restaurant scene. Macon’s Cookin’ honors everything that makes Macon unique—its music, art, food, and most importantly, its people. We’re bringing it all together in one place on one unforgettable night.

Who is Rebuilding Macon?

For over 25 years, Rebuilding Macon has been serving the community of Macon, Georgia. Rebuilding Macon is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit that rehabilitates homes for elderly and disabled, low-income homeowners throughout Macon-Bibb. Through the help of over 2,000 volunteers from Macon and from across the nation, around 250 homes are repaired each year.
