The enchantment of the Season’s favorite music played in beautiful duet on guitar, mandolin, cittern, and old style banjo.
Through the ageless tones of beautiful acoustic guitars, the music of Christmas comes to life in Robin and Steve’s concert of carols and hymns spanning over 600 years. Internationally recognized as master Celtic instrumentalists, they celebrate the many moods of the Yuletide season in gorgeous guitar interpretations, augmenting their six-string virtuosity with selections on cittern, mandolin, and clawhammer banjo. Combining familiar favorites such as \”What Child is This,\” \”The First Noel,\” \”O Little Town of Bethlehem\” and a show-stopping guitar arrangement of \”Carol of the Bells\” with old-world Scottish and Irish carols, they weave a spell from centuries of tradition and the joy of the season, creating an unforgettable evening of acoustic Christmas cheer. Fun for the entire family, happily brought to you by Acoustic Productions and Wesleyan College.
Robin Bullock: Hailed as a “Celtic guitar god” (Baltimore City Paper), Robin Bullock’s virtuosity on guitar, cittern and mandolin perfectly balances lightning-fast fingerwork one moment with tender, quiet intimacy the next, creating a unique and magical experience.
