The Stroll

Amble at your leisure through twelve blooming private gardens in the Stanislaus Neighborhood during the day, Friday through Sunday. On Friday and Saturday evenings, the Historic Interiors Tour will offer guests an excursion through nine private interiors in buildings designed by noted local architects.

Ticket holders will also be able to view unique flower arrangements by local florists on the main levels of Hay House. Explore different displays with some “out of the box” ideas by some of the most talented floral designers in Middle Georgia.

Nestled among historic magnolias and camellias, the Garden Market returns to the beautiful lawn of Hay House in the heart of downtown Macon. Browse charming vendor booths for flowering plants and trees, perennials, garden and patio accessories, potted plants, home accents, and much more! Garden Market Hours: Friday and Saturday, 10 am – 5 pm and Sunday 1 pm – 5 pm

Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Hay House: Guest speaker Tommy Alden from County Line Nursery of Byron, GA will be speaking on his experiences and expertise in Camellias.

Saturday at 11 AM at Hay House: Guest speaker John Howard ASLA of Howard Design Studios in Atlanta will be “talking on the garden renovation and re-imagining of two historic properties in Atlanta, Boxwood by Philip Trammell Shutze and Somerset House by Neel Reid. Both are historic homes with gardens that were recently re-imagined for life in the 21st Century.”
