Presented by Theatre Macon at Coleman Hill

Theatre Macon and the Community Foundation of Central Georgia are excited to bring you Shakespeare in the Park! For 2 nights only, come out to Coleman Hill in historic Downtown Macon to catch a performance of William Shakespeare’s beloved comedy about mismatched love, A Midsummer Night’s Dream. This production is free to the public and all ages are invited to attend. Please bring your lawn blankets, chairs, and picnics and enjoy this fantastical limited engagement under the stars.

About the show:
A Midsummer Night’s Dream is Shakespeare’s magical story of star crossed lovers, overly ambitious homespun clowns, and misadventures with the fairies. The fun can be multiplied by mixing and matching the male/female roles. The action begins at the beautiful court of Theseus, Duke of Athens, and later moves to the mystical forest inhabited by Oberon and Titania, king and queen of the fairies. And don’t forget Puck…fairyland was never like this! A Midsummer Night’s Dream is directed by Jim Crisp.
