The annual Macon Arts Alliance Cultural Awards recognize individuals, organizations and businesses who have made significant contributions to the arts and cultural life of Central Georgia through their work. Nominations are accepted from the community annually and an independent panel selects each year’s honorees. This year, the event will honor the contributions of time, talent and resources of Evelyn & Joe Adams, Jan Beeland, Elliott Dunwody and Macon Little Theatre. This event will be hosted in the Beeland Auditorium at Mill Hill Community Arts Center and is free and open to the public. Enjoy a glass of wine and tour the 1920’s art deco venue at 5:30 PM. The Macon Arts Alliance Annual Meeting and Awards program will begin promptly at 6:00 PM. An elegant winner’s reception will follow.
