Americana singer-songwriter and Macon favorite Shane Bridges returns to The Society Garden!
Shane Bridges grew up in the small town of Jeffersonville Georgia. His dad gave him his first guitar at 14, which at an early age sparked his love and interest for music. Being constantly exposed to good music from his older brother and sister further invoked his passion to write and play music. At the age of 18 he started performing and writing his own songs which led to his career as a singer songwriter. With a voice as smooth as good whiskey and songs as strong as the proof, Shane influences range from Merle Haggard, Lyle Lovett to Gram Parsons. Shane has landed his songs on several hit TV shows such as “The Hills”, “The Real World” and many of the major cable networks such as CMT, VH1, Discovery Channel, Bravo, Nat Geo in the US and International. He has opened for Americana acts such as Robert Earl Keen to Jim Lauderdale. Coined as an intelligent songwriter and musician, you will always get your money’s worth giving him a listen.
