The Crossroads Writers Conference is an annual gathering of writers and readers who represent a wide variety of formats and genres including fiction, poetry, memoir, screenwriting, comic books, writing for the web, and many more. At Crossroads, amateurs learn from professionals, connect with others passionate about writing, and get motivated to finish their writing projects. In our fourth year, the conference has become a unique attraction, featuring a fun, communal, and open atmosphere fostered by professionals from New York, Boston and San Francisco, as well as notable talents from around the state and region, drawing a sizable crowd of registrants from all over the Southeast. A significant portion of the proceeds from this year’s events will support the Junior League’s literary initiatives, the Office of Letters & Light’s Youth Writing Program, and the Project Dreams children’s book.
