KNC Information Sessions

KNC Information Sessions

Presented by Community Foundation of Central Georgia at Peyton Anderson Community Services Building

The Community Foundation of Central Georgia will be hosting two information sessions for new applicants about the Knight Neighborhood Challenge next week. We are asking previous recipients and Commission members to attend all or part of these sessions to create a forum for instant feedback for individuals who may have an idea for KNC. We would like to add to the discussion of what makes a KNC project successful. Specifically, we hope to address the fact that good applications have elements of creativity, community input, collaboration, and sustainability.

The sessions will be Monday, May 14 from 12:00-1:30pm (lunch will be served) and Tuesday, May 15 from 5:30-7:00pm. They will be held in the Peyton Anderson Community Services Building (277 MLK Jr. Blvd) on the first floor. Each will be broken up into three blocks of information lasting approximately 30 minutes. The first block will focus on a background of KNC and elements of a successful KNC project. The second block will involve a discussion of public art, potential projects, and the areas of the master plan that have yet to be addressed. The last block will be an instructional period of how to navigate the online application.
